Responsible Drinking
At Carroll Distributing Company, we dedicate $46,000 a year to alcohol awareness. The money goes to prevent alcohol abuse, including drunk driving and underage drinking. We are proud to promote responsible drinking behaviors and look for ways to invest in new ways to drive awareness around these critical issues.
Economic Impact
Carroll Distributing pays $12 million in taxes annually, which is used by the government to invest in technology and education and to provide goods and services for the benefit of the American people.
Florida’s three-tier system and how it benefits Brevard County
Florida’s three-tier system is made up of brewers, distributors, and retailers. All three work together to bring consumers the tremendous variety of craft beer they enjoy, but you may not realize how huge of a role the distributor plays in the process. At Carroll Distributing, we are an extension of local breweries and introduce the breweries products to our retailers. This, in turn, allows our retailers to get a wide variety of beer to offer to their consumers.
Step Up For Students Scholarship Fund
Carroll Distributing is responsible for $3.6 million a year to the Step Up Scholarship Fund for the State of Florida. Step Up For Students helps ensure that equal educational opportunity for all children is not just a dream but a reality. Step Up is a state-approved nonprofit scholarship-funding organization that helps administer four scholarships for Florida schoolchildren. These scholarships empower Florida families to have a voice in their children’s education and strengthen public education by offering options to struggling schoolchildren.
Community Involvement
For 37 years, Carroll Distributing has been involved in the Grant Seafood Festival. All proceeds from the Grant Seafood Festival are put back into the community.
For 35 years, Carroll Distributing has participated in the Melbourne Art Festival. The Melbourne Art Festival is a fully volunteer-staffed, nationally recognized event, held each year on the last full weekend of April at Wickham Park in Melbourne, Florida.
Carroll Distributing continues to support The Florida Veteran’s Reunion for its 32nd year! The Florida Veterans Reunion is one of the largest and longest running veterans reunions in the country which welcomes all veterans young and old at the event. The Vietnam Traveling Memorial, The Some Gave All Moving Tribute, and other static display’s are on display for the 4 day event.
Since 1978, Carroll Distributing continues their support of The Space Coast Warbird Air Show and The Valiant Air Command, Inc..
For more than 10 years, Carroll Distributing has supported Thunder on Cocoa Beach Super Boat Race. The event, one of the largest in Central Florida, draws the top race teams in the World to compete in various classes with the premier class reaching speeds over 175 mph.
Since 2015, Carroll Distributing has been a strong supporter of The Indialantic Boardwalk Triathlon in beautiful Indialantic, FL.Which includes a tranquil bike, run and swim along the Space Coast and a festive beach bash and awards party featuring music, good food, cold beer, and prizes for participants.
Carroll Distributing supports the annual offshore fishing tournament hosted by the Florida Sport Fishing Association (FSFA) in Cape Canaveral, Florida since 1969!
Carroll has supported the Grant BBQ Festival since 2003, a wonderful free community event with daily live entertainment, arts, crafts, local vendors, a People’s Choice Contest, a classic car and motorcycle show, which is family fun for all throughout Brevard County!
We support Surfin’ Santas which benefits the Florida Surf Museum! What started out as a small, family day in Cocoa Beach has turned into a global phenomenon. People from all over congregate on Christmas Eve in Cocoa Beach to celebrate the holidays with Santa, friends and family. Whether you surf or you’re looking to join in the holiday spirit, there’s no other beach having this much fun on Christmas Eve!
Carroll Distributing provides ongoing support to the Candlelighters of Brevard who are instrumental in providing programs and services to children with cancer and their families in Brevard and Indian River County.
